"How to Succeed Under Pressure" Seminar
Have you ever felt the stress of a deadline or pressure in the workplace? Your neck becomes stiff, you feel your heart rate climbing, and you may even get that feeling in the pit of your stomach. These are the physical effects of stress. Unfortunately, excessive stress response is detrimental to health, well-being, workplace productivity, and overall quality of life.

On the other hand, have you ever had a time where you were under pressure and you were very effective, if not even more effective? Have you ever felt the beneficial effects of having a deadline or working under pressure? If so, then you know that there is a way to channel stress into something that can be advantageous.

And in both scenarios, you’ve probably improvised quite a bit to get through it while questioning your intuitive, in-the-moment decisions. Usually, your intuition is right and believing in yourself is the key to “trusting your gut”.

Dr. Akram Alashari, Surgeon and Gina Trimarco, Motivational Trainer, have partnered to deliver a dynamic, insightful and inspiring three-hour seminar will tools and techniques you can implement today to massively increase your effectiveness and succeed under pressure.

Random Acts of Improv Comedy Show (18+)
This is a fast paced show with Brett Simpson, Bryan West, Jean Bennett, Jenn and Lee Shinaberger, Marilou Cook, and Pat Van Oss—the members of ‘Out of Thin Air.’

Craigslist serves as the inspiration for Act 1 with the audience choosing the listings the players will use to create a montage of fast paced scenes.

Act 2 is The Harold, the iconic long form developed in Chicago by the godfather of improv comedy, Del Close. Based on a one word suggestion, the following 30 minutes will take the players and the audience on a roller coaster ride of characters, relationships, and situations before delivering everyone ‘safely’ back to the word that started it all.

Uptown is the only place for Improv Comedy in Myrtle Beach, so “C’mon out, Y’all!”
